Anybus Communicator ABC3128:

The Anybus Communicator EtherCAT - Profinet IO is an industrial protocol gateway that allows you to transfer data from EtherCAT devices (slaves) to a Modbus TCP network.

Anybus Communicators are designed to ensure reliable, secure and fast data transfer between various industrial Ethernet and fieldbus networks. The standalone gateways are very easy to install and deploy and enable transparent data exchange between PLCs, allowing you to bridge and integrate legacy equipment into modern, high-performance networks with only minimal changes to the software.

Anybus Communicators are built using the award-winning and proven Anybus NP40 industrial network processor that provides network compliance, high performance and reliability. When connecting between PLCs on different networks, an extremely fast data cycle is enabled with data transfers of up to 1500 bytes in each direction, meeting most current control application needs and future requirements.
